SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT CENTER AT THE RAILYARDS
The City of Sacramento has entered into an exclusive negotiating agreement with the Convergence development team that is behind a proposal for a new sports and entertainment venue at The Railyards. The Convergence proposal would integrate a Sports and Entertainment Center with the Sacramento Intermodal Transportation Facility.

GOVERNOR ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER HIGHLIGHTED THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF THE RAILYARDS
At a press event in the Paint Shop on July 9, 2008, Governor Schwarzenegger call The Railyards a "spectacular project" and he helped celebrate the distribution of $47 million in state bonds for infrastructure and housing at the
